Families in the apostolic mission
Families in Apostolic Mission is to promote the human-Christian values of the family in the community,
so that the family may be a shaper of individuals, an educator in the faith, and a defender of life.
and, therefore, actively committed to the integral development of the community through its members.
Families in Apostolic Mission (FAMA) is a lay organization, with the assistance of spiritual advisors, that promotes marital spirituality and family ministry, inspired by Gospel values. It operates within the Hispanic Ministry, and meetings are primarily conducted in Spanish.
The larger group is made up of smaller groups that meet monthly at a member's home or at the parish. They discuss what they have observed in their family or community, evaluate it in light of Jesus' teachings, and take action to improve the situation.
