WITNESS OF CHRIST

This ministry becomes the beating heart of the church, a sacred place dedicated to the profound adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Here, prayer is not just an act, but a bond that unites the community in a continuous vigil, full of faith and devotion.

From women and children who, in an act of love and dedication, gather until midnight, to men who, in small groups, keep vigil in adoration hour after hour until 7 in the morning.

This ministry not only offers spiritual refuge, but also strengthens the foundations of collective faith, reminding us of the essence and transformative power of being in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

In conclusion, the purpose of this ministry is:

• To unite members in prayer before the Exposed Blessed Sacrament.
• To deepen the experience of communion with the Eucharistic Christ, as His offering and saving influence continue, and to revitalize Christian commitment.
• To pray for the needs of the Church and the world at large.

It is an experience that touches the soul and revives the spirit, a call to live the faith with intensity and commitment!

This ministry is more than just a welcome; it is the first display of warmth and hospitality that our parishioners experience upon arriving at the temple.

The members of this team not only organize the liturgical books, collect the offerings and distribute newsletters, but also help to create a welcoming and organized environment where each person feels part of our community from the very first moment.

CERS stands for: Evangelizing Community for Reconciliation and Service.

This ministry is responsible for educating our community in the Word of God and the Catechism in the Catholic Church.

The mission of this ministry is to foster spiritual renewal by encouraging member participation in community ministries in Santa Barbara.

This is a ministry organized for adult men and women where each group organizes a 2-day retreat based on Scripture and personal testimonies of those who have already experienced the retreat.
